What do sessions look like?
How sessions unfold will depend on you and your individual process. We start with an intake session where I get a deeper sense of you, your history and desires. From there we collaborate to meet you with experiences and processes that are most supportive to you. I pull from my "medicine basket" of tools, as well as my experience and intuition, to offer you possibilities. I invite your empowered choice and wisdom along the way about what feels right for you.
There is lots of room for creativity and sessions can be very unique and outside the box, and sometimes they can look like regular counseling or therapy. Some common forms sessions can take is talking about and getting support with what feels important to you, learning new tools for relationships, pleasure, embodiment and nervous system regulation, somatic trauma work, guided somatic and mindfulness-based explorations to tap into what's happening in your body, gentle, fully-clothed touch for nervous system support and touch for pleasure integrating sexological bodywork. I have cuddled, danced with and designed rituals with my clients. I consider my work with people to be a sacred space for your body and being to be met in the ways that it needs and desires.

How long do you usually see people/ how many sessions will it take?
Some people come to me for a series of 3-6 sessions to work through a specific concern or goal, while others see me for ongoing long-term support. The work I do is process-oriented and relationship-based, so I don't generally work with people in a single session. You are welcome to work with me as long as it feels supportive to you.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
All of the work I do is in-person at my studio in inner NE Portland, Oregon. My professional experience has been that in-person sessions are more effective for somatic and relational work. I offer consultations online if you are not local to the Portland area but considering traveling in the future to work with me in the future.
How often should I come for sessions?
Because this work is rooted in safety and trust, I recommend that your first 2-3 sessions be spaced out no more than two weeks from each other. From there we can determine the pace session by session as your process unfolds. I don't have specific time slots for people so scheduling can be flexible and organic.
Do you work with couples?
Yes! Check out my couples page for more information.
What is the cost?
Sessions range from 140-200 per hour depending on whether you go session by session or choose a package. Check out my process and pricing page to explore all of the options. I am dedicated to making this work accessible so if those numbers feel daunting, let's talk. I offer a generous sliding scale and/or payment plans to those who need it to make working with me possible.
