Hello, I'm glad you're here! I've arrived here as part of a long healing journey of my own. Somatic healing work supported me in finding wholeness after decades of struggling with depression and complex trauma, and I'm called to share this path with others.
I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a certified Somatic Sex Educator and Sexological Bodyworker. I've found that integrating tools that meet and support the whole person- body, spirit/soul, mind, emotions, relationships- creates the most powerful context for healing and change. Touch is necessary for human healing and thriving and I offer trauma-informed, intentional touch for those that desire it in our work together.
I believe that sexuality is an area of profound wounding in our culture and creating sex-positive, anti-oppressive spaces for sexual healing and empowerment is vital. I am excited to be a part of the emerging and cutting-edge professions of Somatic Sex Education and Sexological Bodywork. I have served on the leadership board of the Somatic Sex Educators Association and I am co-editor of Healers on the Edge, the first book about the profession of Somatic Sex Education. I strongly believe that empowered, embodied pleasure is healing not only on an individual level; it is necessary for our collective evolution.
I'm passionate about helping people transform their relationships with their bodies, heal trauma and release shame. It's an honor to witness my clients creating more pleasure, possibility and wholeness in their bodies and lives.
I am currently enrolled in a 12 month certification program in Psychedelic Therapies and Integration. If you are curious about psychedelics and how they might be able to support you on your journey, please do bring it up in our time together.
